Also: new overlaminates.
Avery Dennison Graphic Solutions (www.averydennison.com) has launched two new perforated films that allow windows to be decorated with digitally printed graphics without completely restricting vision. Both films are printable with all ink platforms including solvent, eco-solvent, UV, and latex. MPI 3529 has a matte finish, removable adhesive, and 50/50 perforation pattern for use in promotional vehicle applications where increased visibility from the interior is required. MPI 3729 has a 60/40 perforation pattern and is intended for P-O-P, tradeshow, and other flat window applications. Both films are compatible with the new DOL 6560 overlaminate, a 1-mil product (Avery’s thinnest to date) recommended for shorter-term applications. Also new are DOL 6460, a gloss overlaminate with up to 2-year durability for printed graphics, and DOL6960, a 2-mil overlaminate designed for applications where additional scratch and chemical resistance are needed.
