BeBop Sensors, a startup that designs smart fabric sensor technology for apparel OEMs, has developed Marcel Modular Data Gloves for OEMS in the virtual and augmented reality markets. The gloves offer haptic feedback and sense knuckle/abduction motion in the human hands, providing control and navigation in virtual/augmented reality environments. Engineered for real-time control, the technology’s high-speed sensor processing prevents lag-time.

The BeBop Data Gloves are available with 5, 10, or 14 sensors and include the option for a haptic creation kit to customize and add to the haptic library. The gloves add to BeBop’s lineup of wearable smart fabric, including clothing and protective wear, shoes, healthcare devices, and more.
