Award nominations accepted through July 28.
Big Picture magazine, a sister publication to Screen Printing that serves the wide-format digital printing industry, has opened the inaugural Women in Print Awards for nominations. Six winners in the digital printing industry that exemplify innovation, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy will be honored in the magazine’s September issue.
“At a time when proving our ongoing relevance is critical – especially to the generation that is preparing to enter the workforce now – we can’t afford to accept the entrenched stereotypes about printing,” says Steve Duccilli, VP of content at ST Media Group (Big Picture and Screen Printing’s parent company), in his foreword to Big Picture’s May 2016 issue.
To be considered for the award, nominees must hold a leadership position at a company that produces print as its primary function. Selections will be based on the nominee’s involvement in bettering the people, associations, and companies she influences.
