Lloyd's of Indiana Named Distributor for Digital Equipment Co.
Lloyd’s of Indiana, Indianapolis, IN, announced it has been named a distributor of the Legend 72HUV hybrid printer from Digital Equipment Co. Lloyd’s also will offer live demonstrations of the printer at its facility.
The Legend 72HUV uses ColorWide UV-curable inks that allow printing on coated and uncoated media, both roll and rigid, including foam boards, PVC boards, MDO, fabrics, vinyl, polycarbonate film, backlit film, vinyl, Coroplast, and aluminum.
“Since our print shop installed the Legend 72HUV, we’ve seen our wide-format printing supply costs go down as much as 50%, with an 80% reduction in labor costs,” says Garry Jones, CEO of Lloyd’s. “What really sets the Legend apart from other UV-curable printers is how it’s built; the Legend is print-shop tough. Other machines in the Legend’s price range are built like lightweight office equipment, and have much higher supply costs.
Print-shop owners are invited to visit Lloyd’s of Indiana and see the Legend in action. To schedule a visit, go to www.wideformatrevolution.com, an information Website launched by Lloyd’s of Indiana.
