MagnaColours Releases GNA Ink Certificate

Certifies compliance against the use of harmful chemicals.

MagnaColours has announced GNA, a new universal certificate of compliance against the use of unsafe chemicals for inks in the garment printing industry. GNA is positioned as an “alternative, simplified certification process reducing testing while giving brands complete peace of mind,” according to a release. The certification is aligned with the textile industry’s strictest Restricted Substance List and takes into consideration Bluesign and Oeko-Tex guidelines. GNA passports can be used as a substitute for testing protocols and RSL certificates, and has had accredited inks tested and verified by Bureau Veritas, according to the company.
