Roland DGA (www.rolanddga.com) developed its new Metallic Silver ECO-SOL MAX eco-solvent ink specifically for the company’s 54-in. (1372-mm) SOLJET PRO III XC-540MT inkjet printer/cutter. Roland says the ink is the first of its kind from a major inkjet printer company. Users can combine Metallic Silver with CMYK to create other metallic hues, including gold, bronze, and pearlescent colors. The ink is compatible with vinyl, paper, PET film, canvas, and other media for indoor and outdoor displays, window decorations, labels, packaging prototypes, P-O-P displays, signs, banners, posters, and more. Metallic Silver is vailable in 220-ml cartridges.
