Pröll has unveiled NoriCure CCI, a UV-curable and laminable screen-printing ink designed for PVC and PETG films used in manufacturing identity and consumer cards. The ink is said to have good lamination properties and peel strength when used on coated and uncoated PVC overlay films at temperatures greater than 285 F. The ink is supplied press-ready and is offered in 4 transparent shades – yellow, red, blue, and green – as well as clear, white, and black. Two special-effect metallic inks (Silver Coarse and Pale Gold Coarse) are also available, as are additives for adjusting viscosity and reactivity.
