Printable Fabric from 3M

Release is accompanied by launch of fabric laminate.

3M’s new Printable Fabric 9100 is engineered for creating inkjet-printed exterior graphics subject to wear and tear such as awnings, umbrellas, flags, and other textile signs. The fabric’s launch is paired with that of 3M Scotchcal Ultra-Matte Overlaminate 9025UM, designed specifically to protect the new material; users can qualify for a 6-year 3M MCS Warranty when using the two products together.

The company adds that its Printable Fabric 9100 is optimized for use with EFI Vutek’s GS3250LXr, GS5250LXr, and GS5500LXr Pro printers using GSLXr 3M Superflex UV inks.

It is available in 60- and 120-in. widths.
