The R160 one-color press, the company says, fills a void that has long existed in the specialty printing market. The R160 is a small-format, semiautomatic, one-color press that supports image sizes up to 4.75 x 7.75 in. (120 x 197 mm). According to Inkcups Now, it addresses the challenges of printing images that fall between the traditional ranges of screen- and pad-printing equipment, while enabling better utilization of larger screen-printing machines. The ICN-R160 features six platens and a part detector to prevent printing on an empty platen automatically. It is equipped with a dual flash cure unit. The press supports printing speeds up to 1800 impressions/hr.
