What should I charge if the apparel is brought in?

Posted on Mon, 26 Feb 2007 at 22:09

A client has the shirts that he wants printed and only needs me to print the apparel.

The client wants 6 sets (totaling 208 pieces) with 2 prints on each (same back screen for all tees). It's a total of 4 screens (splitting 2 graphics per screen) and is black ink on white tees.

Should take approx. 5 - 8 hours depending on how many guys/machines we have going.

What should I charge per piece to just print the apparel.

He's also a friend of mine.

Thanks,
jm

Jim,
This sounds like the best way I know to lose a friend. It has happened to me overt and over to the point that I will not print on the customers supplied garments. If anything at all goes wrong, even if you warn him in advance, he is going to expect you to replace the germent plus reprint it.
Evewn if he signs off on liability.
I tell them now that if KFC will allow them to supply their own chicken I will allow them to supply their own shirts.
