Make offer-Must go!
85" Seybold Cutter.
Works very good and is very reliable.
The clutch was rebuilt completely and works excellent!
NO gears have ever been broken on the machine and are all in excellent working condition!
One upgrade that was added to the machine, was on the blade operating mechanism. The cutting does operate on the mill trim principle, but it actually cycles because it is activated by a pneumatic (air powered) trigger mechanism.
In other words, the clamp and blade will not operate unless 2 air-powered buttons located under the cutting table, are pressed simultaneously. This is a safety devise, to prevent the operator from placing there hands on the table during the cutting cycle.
Another pneumatically operated feature of the cutter is the air table, that allows the stock to be moved and cut very easily across the table area. This table would save you many man hours a month, just in handling "large" pieces of stock, and should allow you to cut quicker and more profitably.
You will be getting multiple blades, including a "brand" new one never used. Whatever cut sticks remain, go with the machine.
The blades and cut sticks alone are worth alot.
