Advice/help needed

Posted on Tue, 4 May 2004 at 12:22

Hi, my husband and I have just recently bought a 4 color press. So far we have 1 screen, some plastitol ink, a squeege and a flash dryer. I have some questions on what else we need to get started on making shirts. In school I did silk screening, so I have a good idea on what we're doing, but I have somewhat forgotten some things. I know we need to burn the image on to the screens. I have read online that we can take special lights with a piece of plexi glass. does anyone else do this? are there any step by step books on garment printing that are worth buying? And can anyone tell me what all else we need to get started? I will really appreciate all the help we can get! Thankyou!

Anonymous says: Read the book "How to Print T-shirts for Fun and Profit". This usually cost around $40, but is the best investment you could make. It will tell you how to do everything you want to know how. posted on: Tue, 05/11/2004 - 9:52am
