Anyone interested in the Direct to Garment Digital Inkjet process should check out - Screen Printing University on the web. They have done a comparison between the "Fast T-Jet", Mimaki, and Brother GT-541. This site is totally unbiased. This is only fair to everyone looking into purchasing such equipment. Also some ink costs have been skewed, as some printers have to hit the print twice (also twice the time). Some cannot repeat print for multiples and must download the same art each time to print. Also some printers need a RIP. Do yourselves a favor. INVESTIGATE THOROUGHLY!

Anonymous says: The cost of printing the T-jet twice is already factored in. You can see the numbers for single and double passes. You choose what you pay by choosing your resolution, and how many passes. posted on: Sat, 07/09/2005 - 6:39am
Anonymous says: Double pass also doubles the printing time. Painfully slow for any production depending upon size of print, but if you only need to print a dozen or so per hour this is not an issue. CJ posted on: Thu, 07/14/2005 - 3:45pm
