I have seen alot of prints lately on the seams and zippers of garments. I tried printing a fullchest print on a zip up hoodie and had little success. i am extremely new to screen printing and just have a small 4 color manual press. If anyone can help me with tips or techniques it would be greatly appreciated.

you can make a zipper easement pallet or pallets...we've cut out a 1 inch line out of the rubber top part of the pallet so that that zipper can sink into the space. we've also built up pallets with cardboard to mimick this same affect and adjusted off contact. you'll find that you can print across the zipper without damaging your screen.
you'll also want to use waterbase or base down your usual thick plastisol
