old printing press

Posted on Tue, 7 Sep 2004 at 11:59

I recently purchased an old 4 color manual press. It has everything except for the arm attachment that holds the surface to put the shirts on and press. It has the pressing surface just not the arm. So I have to weld something together. Before I do, I was wondering if anybody knew anything about this press. It is a Mr. T Press made by U.S. Screen Industries from Tempe, Arizona. It is around 20-30 years old I think. The only company that comes close is U.S. Screen Institute in Tempe, Arizona. Did they switch from manufacturer to a school? Anybody know where I could find an old part or even specs to weld the exact piece. Thanks for any help you can give me.
