Uniplaten Die Cutter

Posted on Wed, 24 Aug 2005 at 11:08

Recently we acquired a Uniplaten Die Cutter (1989 model) in an auction. We have it hooked up and running but we need a manual for this machine, especially for parts. It is missing some locking clamps that hold the chase in, without those we cannot use our dies and the machine becomes the largest paper weight I've ever seen.

If someone has any information on where I could get parts and a manual please let me know.
I am not sure of the specific model number but I can take measurements and digital pictures if you require them. This Die Cutter was made in China. The American company that sold it to the company we bought it from in the auction is no longer in business from what I can tell.

I talked to a Die making company and when I described the press to them they said that it sounded like a Thomson Die Cutter, so I will be giving Thomson a call as soon as I post this message.
My General Manager says that someone out there must know something about a Uniplaten Die Cutter! :)

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
