Who's excited about SGIA Las Vegas?

I'm twitching. Not only will I get out of Duckburg (Courtenay on Vancouver Island...waaaaayyy out in the boonies) but I will get to see lots of my squeegee dragging friends and aquaintances from the industry.
Here's hoping Yellow got all our equipment to the show in one piece, all the last minute graphics come through, and every body has a safe journey there. Come by for a little 'Shop Talk' at booth 1172 and check out our machines. We put the human touch back in screenprinting.

ps - any of you newbies out there who like to ask questions and want to learn, you need to make the effort to attend this show. Get your eyes opened to all the equipment, supplies and knowledge out there that will make your jobs easier and more productive.

As usual we got screwed with costs - my frieght bill moving in and out was $3300, which after i asked for a reweigh and reclass from exhibit to machinery got reduced to $1200. Why is it necessary to kill exhibitors with such overblown costs? $1500 for a bit of power and air pressure and may 30 minutes of tech time?
I don't know how the big exhibitors do it. I have a good idea why more people don't bother exhibiting.
Maybe the screen equipment manufacturers need to find an agricultural hall somewhere in a city that wants some business and we put on a screen only show?
Vegas Shmegas.
Next year we get screwed by Mickey Mouse?
