UV ink adhesion to polyester

Posted on Tue, 6 Sep 2005 at 12:06

Does anyone know if there is a UV curing ink that will adhere to raw polyester (no PTC)?
We have come WAY down the path on a project requiring the UV ink process only to discover that traditional UV inks do not adhere well to our glossy, uncoated polyester film. We need good adhesion, as in the thumbnail scratch test and tape test. Any insights will be appreciated. Thanks

Nazdar and Marabu should be able to fit your needs, otherwise send me a piece of the material to run a couple of tests.
Take care,
