Looking for a machine for 18x24 coroplast signs. Thanks in advance.
I made a wooden framed bench out of 3/4" plywood and mounted a set of frame hinges at the top. Simply shim in front of the hinges with a sheet of corplast with a very thin sheet of metal on top to print on..We only make 8-10 diffrent runs a month on our press so I screwed eyebolts into the bases of the screen and ran ropes over a pully to a counterbalanced wieght on the other end--this allows the screen to raise easyier and stay up while switching out the signs.. Hope this helps...
Vance is right. you don't need a heck of allot. if you've got a sign shop or something and it's not high-run output, why spend the money? it's simple to set up & minimises shop area use. And you can always modify the setup to suit your needs, like long, one-time, short runs and the like.
